Sure it's not Stewart Felfoss Stenstrøm Stardust

Thanks Argonor, he's quite a character, someone needs to make a miniature of him with those sideburns!

Well played Snappy! Well played indeed.

Many thanks, Mr.Peabody.

Artizan if I remember rightly.

3 fingers, yes, all the Pinkertons are Artizan. The strange thing is they come in two sets of three and I only have five so I must have mislaid one somewhere which is a bit annoying. Can't find him anywhere. It's the one below if anyone has one for sale I would be happy to pay a reasonable price and P&P.

I really enjoy the narratives you provide with your updates, so I shall be watching all further proclamations closely.

Thanks, Matt. I hadn't thought about the connection between Pulp and OW but you have given me a few ideas here. The mine I have planned will be perfect in a Pulp setting too (also for Scooby Doo, "if it wasn't for you pesky meddling kids!"). Also my planned OW buildings could become a ghost town in the '30's for Pulp. Thanks for the ideas.

I use my buildings regularly in my sci-fi games, but it has also been used for Strange Aeons 1930's Cthulhu gaming, so Pulp is no problem at all. I also intend to use the OW buildings for many other things, just make a detachable sign and it should be ok. I mean, a wooden building is a wooden building, eh?
 ;)

*(Apart from the AWOL Pinkie, of course...... lol.
I will see if I have him......).

Thanks, Deedles. The first building planned is the saloon, as is only right and proper!

I was inspired by Guthrie, Oklahoma where it appears that it only took a month to get three newspapers going, a hotel and three general stores. However, 50 saloons were built in Guthrie's first week!

Nice looking pieces.  How did you add the backdrop to your vignette?  I'm not sure I'd trust shysters like Lamora and Tannen :) .

Thanks, horridperson. The backdrop was simply printed on photo paper and then pinned to an A4 sheet of foam and stood behind the sand/pebble mixture which I just brushed up to the photo. It works surprisingly well for such a simple technique.

As to Lamora and Tannen, nothing untoward or sinister has happened...................................................yet!   ;)

It looks like Hog Thief Bend might even be attracting some law-abiding (or are they?) citizens to set up a church and school in the town.

L-R: Isobel Pickwell (last known living with a German dentist in Argentina but it seems he died and left all his money to Isobel), the Reverend G. T. P. Mann (nothing is known of Reverend Mann yet, but it seems like he preaches, gun in hand!) and Sister Sara (searching for two mules).

I keep seeing in these photos that the eyes are way too big. I must try and correct that on my next figures!

Holy, preggers, sister!  The sister looks preggers!

Perhaps the eyes should be so big - are they not all staring down the barrel of a gun?  lol

Fun build - or is it a 'paint' since 'taint much a built, jest' yet.

I think rather that the proverbial 'bun in the oven', Sister Sara has probably OD'd on doughnuts!  ;)

Only paint so far, but the saloon should be built soon (plenty of thirsty citizens) and maybe a small game can occur around the saloon.

Yes, I wanted to paint the preacher's coat black but I can't paint black, so I just lazily went for an alternative colour. I've got the Earps to paint but I keep leaving them, as to my mind, I want them all in black!

The saloon has still not arrived  :'( so I've been painting figures. These are the inhabitants of Hog Thief Bend, so far. Some of them have been named, some not yet.

That is a fine selection of characters you have already amassed, sir.
Most impressive.
