Very nice - like his helmet! Is the shield freehand - topmarks if so!

Got any more pics of these bannermen (I presume you're not talking about Dr Who here...  ;))

Bring on the direwolves, that'll sort your Lannister scum out!  lol

Let's see the rest of em, Sandor is looking good, though not as fearsome as I imagined...

Great looking model and you did a good job with the scarring/burn- not overdone.

I'm still waiting for 'A Dance with Dragons'... >:(

Might have to make some HAVOC 'Named' profiles for these models and post them on my blog. When I get some time, I mean to paint my playing pieces from the 'Battles of Westeros' game.

Vary nice work you have there, I think you have done GR proud with this one.

Now he needs to finish "Dance with Dragons"
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Fantastic!
GRRM's miniatures is one of the main reasons I got int painting at all.  I haven't attempted any yet, as I am not nearly skilled enough yet.  But once I get some more experience, it is my eventual goal to paint those figures.  I hope I can do half as good as you did.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! To Thantsants, no, the shield is a waterslide decal, and the badge on the surcoat is a rub-on transfer from Andrea miniatures. To A_Train, painting him was not that hard, the armour is flat black, drybrushed GW boltgun metal, highlighted w/GW chainmail & given a wash of devlan mud. The red is the red paint in the GW foundation series (I forget the name), highlighted w/Delta opaque red. The Flesh was mixed from foundry & reaper flesh tones. In all, I probably spent an hour & a half on the mini...

Still, it looks very good.  Very well done eyes as well.

Have you done others from the GRRM line?

So Far, I have painted Jon Snow, The Hound, Jaime & Cersi, Ser Loras, 3 members of the Night Watch & Mellisandre. I also have the 2 never released starter sets for the Testors "Song of Ice & Fire" miniatures game (also never released, I was a playtester) They were Night Watch (Knight on horseback, NW w/sword & shied, NW w/longbow & NW w/2H axe) & Wildlings (Wildling leader on shaggy pony w/spear & shield, Wildling w/bone club & shield, Wildling w/composite bow & Wildling w/2H axe) My Bannermen/troops are old GW Bretonnians

They do look great.  What sort of scenarios have you run with them?  Are you only using Song of Blades and Heroes?
