There is also a ”hidden” OG 25mm range of figures for the storming of the Tuileries. Is is not on the OG webpage but can be ordered. I recently bought 2 packs of revolutionary mob minis.

Considering the number of troops dressed as civilians in the early French armies there are useful minis in many SYW/FIW ranges as well as West Winds Gothic Horror ranges

The difference between 1807 French and French revolutionary is small (different hair, longer but certainly neater coats, no light companies included, different flags of course). But of course, in the FR period the style of dress is also different (less formal and partly civilian) for the volunteers and conscriptions. In the FR they used also battalion guns.
Regarding the Perry plastic austrian cavalry, these have the post 1801 uniform; afaik up to 1801 the cavalry still wore the open coat and tricorne/bicorn (the Ottenfeldt prints are wrong imho)

Eagle Figures have figures in 28mm for the French. Including cavalry in Mirliton.

A few more 28mm ranges not yet mentioned:

Britannia Miniatures ( run by Andy Grubb of Redoubt) has a small Egypt range; a bit on the large side like most things by Britannia, but some nice Mamelukes with riders cast on the horses.

Reiver has a small range of 1792 Brits, Vendeeans and Bavarians in Rumford Kasketts; a good match for Trent and I like them but the poses are limited:

Finally, Irregular has been mentioned but not I think their newer 30mm Early Napoleonic line. They're a bit old-school and thinner than most ranges, but have a full range of French and Austrians. The cavalry matches modern 28mm better than the infantry. There are also some nice mamelukes:

Good hunting,
Peter
