Circular hex board
« on: 14 June 2024, 07:59:22 PM »
I'm working on a new game and to play test it I need a hex grid. I could have just drawn one, but I'd also like something that can catch peoples eye on the stand at salute next year, so instead I made this.

It's not finished yet - I need to add some foliage and the odd bit of scattered detail, but I'm happy with it for a couple of hours work. It's all foam and plaster glued to an MDF board.

Neat - shades of Ireland...

I like the idea of a small board you can spin around, I could use it for a wooded area so I can move the figures no matter the tree location.
