I don't think you should feel at all embarassed! It looks period with that cracking Renault engine cover. In fact, I saw this and thought "Hello... that would be fun.... and only a tenner on Ebay.... Hmmmm...." Some may sneer at the 1922 date.... but what is four or five years between friends?

What date is the picture? It's excellent. I have got a Frenchman that could do it.
Have to agree on the price. I picked up this and another one for £7 each. Wish they would do more. Would love German or French WW1 lorries

A quick interweb trawl leads me believe that Renault were experimenting with this design in 1917. I thought it may have been based on the mechanics of the Renault tank, but no. It seems that Renault took many clues from an American machine already in existence. Can not date the photo. The vehicles in the background look WW1ish as do the uniforms. It could, however, be post war.... BUT WHO CARES! This is great. Use it! Mass production for the agricultural market began in 1920.

Who manufactures the German cavalry ? They would also be quite useful for Baltic troops fighting the Bolsheviks in 1918-20.

Sorry Tym,
I've been a little slow on the up take.(way way too much on.)The holts 5ton and 15ton should be at Salute.(had to down tools on snagging them as Sculpting took a back seat while we got dragged back into fostering.)
I'll be putting the finishing touches to a french lorry very soon.As for a german lorry I've already done the german factory Daimler.(can post a few pictures if you wish.)Also due for release at Salute is the Canadian.Autocar.Also I'll be adding a german passenger set for the bus so transport shouldn't be an issue.
