Great stuff.
How did you work out the points for everything?
thanks
Thanks!
Customising your Faction (pages 50-63) explains how to make your own faction but basically you pick general character types which can be Legends (Blessed Crusader, Daring Rogue, Enigmatic Enchanter, Valiant Warrior), Companions (Aspiring Acolyte, Brave Burglar, Wandering Minstrel, Wild Ranger) and Hirelings (from the Minion Manual, pages 65-90). Each Character Type costs a certain amount (which is listed just underneath the character type). You can then adjust the Statistics (remember the Statistic Table on page 50 as it costs 2GP to increase a Stat by 1, 3GP to increase a Stat by 2, 5GP to increase a Stat by 3), Abilities and Attacks as per the entries under each character type...some adjustments are free and some cost extra. You also need to pay for each weapon (page 31). Also if you have chosen Magic Items then you need to include the cost of that, too (page 26-28).
Sounds complicated but is easy to do once you've done one or two. You can also use Crooked Dice's 7th Voyage to add more Character Types and Magic/Spells to the mix.
Looks good, I love the minis. I notice you are in the 250 gp range... What is a reasonable sized game in your experience?
I picked 250GP mainly because I wanted Conan and Valeria to be pretty epic! Even so the Faction is a bit smaller (in terms of number of figs) than I'd normally do. In 7th Voyage we found that games with around 8-12 figs per side were best. The more figs the longer a game can take so I tend to go for the lower number.
