Duncan Rhodes' Two Thin Coats' Paint Range - First Thoughts
« on: 11 December 2022, 02:19:00 PM »
I've been lucky enough to be sent some of Duncan Rhodes' Two Thin Coats' Paint Range to test out, and thought I'd do a series of postings about my thoughts.

First up is his White Star and Doom Death Black - which I've used as primer for some 40mm 3D resin prints I made. With just a single application I'm very happy with them, tbh.

I also used Emerald Green as another prime which seemed to work very well too, and Sir Coates Silver (over a Citadel Abaddon Black prime - didn't want to waste my sole pot of Doom Death Black).

Decided to see how Sir Coates Silver worked with "Citadel" Nuln Oil, so once I'd applied the Shade over this 3D print of Lazer Face by "C27 Studio", I gave the 60mm tall figure a dry-brush with more Sir Coates Silver. Worked out really well imho.

I predominantly wanted to test out Battle Mud Wash on this 3D print of Namaste Haiku by "C27 Studio", so I gave the 60mm tall figure a base coat of Emerald Green and then tried out Duncan's wash over it. The figure also gave me a chance to try out White Star, Skulker Yellow and Marine. They worked out really well, imho.
