warzone forever

and 2 days ago, just before battle* I was wondering about starting mishima army instead of imperial
great painting! and You have no idea how happy I am knowing that there're more warzone-nostalgics around!

*yeah, I remember I promissed battle report but:
-camera batteries were nearly out
-there were only 6 models painted on whole table
-there were only sucky terrains involved, ones which I didn't take to new flat

so I'll try to take battle shots next time... :oops:

I am a little bit scared of the movie, it looks like a horror movie and there have been lots of "cheap" SciFi horror movies (shudder) and from experience movies seldom transport the real feel of the game background (did I get it right it is not on the moon, but IN the earth? I can see dark scenes in dark corridors with lots of flashing gunfire and screaming people you can't see (yawn!)
So I am very pessimistic...

    normally wouldn't quote myself but 2 years later I have actually watched the movie and it is exactly the disaster I had expected...Why can't the Hollywood  guys get it right...I think this was really the final nail to a nice game's coffin...what is it...who decides to make a movie that bad, are they all just plain dumb, it must have cost a fortune to make a movie, can't the get someone at least slightly smarter to do a movie...I don't get it

Such a good game and such a bad movie!

I cannot say I painted any, but I'm considering getting some for my ABC Warriors project.

That Bauhaus Kapitan looks great, though. Very "classic" paint scheme. And apart from the fact that the plasma carbine was a stonkin' weapon in 1ed, I think that model was much better than the "new romantic hairdo" Kapitan with the Deathlockdrum.

in fact I was almot painting hmg one instead of plasma gunner but I thought this one is a bit more "classic"... a bit only...

I actually have a group of Capitol Airbourne Rangers in my newly acquire pile right now. Got them from Prince August.
