A sad tale...I have just had to let my ex throw all my Plasticville buildings out (20 in total) as she is clearing the house to put up for sale and I am 300 miles away and it would cost £160 just to pick them up

That is very sad!   I think it would be good for your soul to do your ex in miniature so she can be killed over and over in one of your 28mm skirmish games...
