To me, the official Summoner figures represent the ideal of what Frostgrave should (IMO) be about, namely a sense of romanticised adventure in a world of wizards and magical creatures without all too much doom and gloom. I only wish the official daemon figures would look a bit less satanic, but I can work around that.

I've been tinkering with some Angel figures for my summoned demons (who says I need to call on the powers of darkness) I have a solid minor/Guardian Angel and a good idea to do up a lantern floating glow for my imps just need an impressive Greater Arch-Angel to complete my set.

Will start with a Necormancer and then explore all schools. Witch will be next as a Shaman for an ork warband. So much to do.....
I should be painting right now.

I have only one warband at present, but I went with a Witch because of the diverse and entertaining array of spell effects, and the very useful Brew Potion ability, which is both a warband buff-up and a money maker.  (And because I already had a bear mini for an animal companion.)

Just on concept alone, I'm drawn to Elementalist. Maybe I've watched a little too much Avatar: The Last Airbender, but there is just something primal and cool about bending Earth, Fire, Air, and Water to your will.

If they made Avatar: The Last Airbender Miniatures I would be using them  :-*

As far as Frostgrave is concerned, I was initially turned off by their spell selection. The casting numbers are high and the spell selection is mostly damage based. Shoot that guy over there. Shoot a few guys over there. Burn everyone near you. Make that sword flaming so it does more damage, etc...

In the current campaign I'm playing in I switched to an Elementalist, after my Illusionist died horribly, and I'm living the Avatar dream. Leaping about, creating walls of stone, pushing stuff around with air blasts, and scorching  things with fire on occasion.

Necro. for me. I'm making a warband of undead. I already had a bunch of undead figs for D&D.

I've played 5 games as a Summoner (first choice), 3 as a Chronomancer, and 2 as an Enchanter and have enjoyed all of them, I can't decide which I prefer.

My rule book arrives today.. Late to the party, I know. Anyway, I am currently torn between the Chronomancer and Thaumaturage.

Been scouring the whole 17 pages of the forums for two days. Like the holy cleric part of the Thaumaturage. And saw someone wanting to have their wizard summon Angels. Super rad idea! Totally stealing that.

Chronomancer appeals to me for speeding up the game, storing an action, crumble floors... :)
