Your School?

Like the topic says...

Which are you most drawn to and why?

Just curious to see if there is a preference or that selection is fairly balanced.

Illusionist, because i like the tickyness factor.

But I don't think there is a school that I wouldn't be prepared to play.

I went Witch as I didn't want a blaster and Animal Companion, Fog and Poison Dart all seemed solid spells.

Thaumaturge.
I always want to play with evil doers, ruthless sociopath, who would sacrifice anyone to achieve goal.... and always end with caring, healing, friendly dudes :P

First instinct; Illusionist as well.

I think many of that caster's tricks just appeal to me. But then again; I prefer playing thievy characters in our RPG games as well.

Hmm; now I'm wondering what that actually says about me...  lol

I'm also drawn to the Chronomancer though. I sort of like the whole concept and crumble would be so much fun to use on a high perched marksman...  :D

And then the summoner; throwing a ticked off genie downrange is also too cool to pass up on.

In fact, I would not be adverse to playing any of the caster types, as each has their own draws.
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Enchanter. Who wouldn't want to magically bring big stompy constructs to the party?

I like the idea of the Chronomancer, particularly because I have this guy and he would fit the bill nicely:

I know he is an orc, but he is still awesome!

Chronomancer. I play Magic: the gathering, and time magic is my favourite there.

My second favourite is enchanter, but this time because of Skyrim - I can imagine the enchanter as leading an expedition from the College of Winterhold to explore ancient Dwemer ruins.

Sigilist. Because words can hurt people too.

But all the lores have their appeal. The obvious solution is just to make ten warbands.

I just wanna play! In any game, I usually take what everyone else is not taking. I am very flexible. A shame I never got any RPGs to play, because I really love RPGs, but none of my friends really do. I want to end up with every model in the Northstar range as far as wizards go anyways, so I can play anyone and they can all borrow my models.

First have to find a Dutch retailer that sells them though...

Thaumaturge, because I love D&D clerics and "holy" magic.

Haven't played yet, but the visual of a Necromancer stalking around a frozen destroyed city is pretty tempting.

Elementalist because I always like direct approach. In MTG my colour is Red, my favourite PC game is Diablo and in W40K I have played Khorne Berzerkers. Yeah, I play barbarians in RPGs.
