Great stuff!

apparently the plastic stuff that were the inspiration for the D&D monsters go for crazy prices on Ebay.

For the observant Dollar-store denizen these can still be found scattered in "prehistoric animal" sets.  Apparently old plastic molds never die on China.  I purchased some sets as recently as last year that contained Bulettes, Rocs, Su beasts and Disenchanters. In fact the boxed set that the author shows in that link can be had at Rite-Aid drugstores here in the USA.

Thank you! I'm back with the rest of the Warband. I had painted several of these some time ago, so I just painted some new additions in the same palette and reorganized them. Let's see the first squad:

The whole squad looks like this:

The second squad is leaded by a guy you already saw in other colours:

I found I had this guy, so he was clearly meant to be the leader:

Finally, the Noise Marines. Beacuse any Slaaneshi Army needs one band!

The whole Warband has this aspect:

A few more comments can be found here:

Well, they now must be seen rocking around the galaxy!

And now for some Imperial love! I determined myself to reset my Ultramarines and make something worthy of them.

I tried the most RT-ish lookings I could achieve, and so I tried. But when I thought I was on the right way, I realized I was making a mistake. The weapons. Too much black was drawing attention from the whole mini. I made some experiments:

Beige was finally the best option. Soooo beige it was:

It fits every weapon imaginable!

This was a Captain, I believe, but he will be the Sergeant for this squad, I'm afraid:

The whole squad looks this way:

Don't know when I'll do another squad, but I promise some shark mouths...

Thank you! I was a little unsure about the colours, but they don't look that bad (and I promise, they look better in the flesh, my pics are awesomely crappy :-[)

It's been a long time since I don't take this project back to life, so about time!

I had these metal guys:

So I added some plastic beakies in order to muster another squad:

I've tried some special marks on the 'Ultra' symbology, as well as the traditional weapon designation marks. Besides, I've recovered the sharkies :D

So this is the Squad!

Besides, I got a Mk.I Termie (hooray!)

Didn't paint him strictly RT style (you know, the helmet), but I think it still makes a deal. I should look for a Mk.II in order to finish the Termie squad I have.

You have the complete process here:
http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2014/11/ultrasharks.html

I should see what comes next (and try no not spend half a year thinking about it...)
