Unlike the others I am hopeful for this project.

Salcor
Oh I am hopeful. I am also a realists, especially with whom who has to be dealt with and the track record that goes with him.

I third the *demands* for SAMAS suits.

I totally thought they were the coolest thing in the world in my youth.

I have seen SAMAS in smaller scale. Can't recall if it was GZG but not sure.

I'm a big RIFTS fan and would love to see the KS come out. The images and printing are amazing.

It was weak in the game, but for me the heat was the X-10 Predator.  I loved the SAMAS but really preferred Triax stuff.

Love this thing.

Rifts Mini Kickstarter eh?

Anyone considering this should google the Palladium Books Robotech Tactics fiasco before committing their money.

I'm not going argue or reply to any comments - I'm just suggesting people inform themselves.

We should probably start a separate thread to warn people off of this project - but the mayhem has already begun in the Kickstarter.  Peoples accounts being deleted, some shouting (from the creators) and the guy who had issues previously even is using a new name, etc.   lol

Not going near this one.  Then again, I've never forgiven Palladium for wrecking Primal Order with pseudo-legal bullying way back when so that wasn't happening regardless of Robotech shenanigans.  It is kind of interesting to speculate about what the gaming world would be like today if his threatened lawsuit had actually killed Wizards of the Coast before they released Magic the Gathering, though.

I try to remain very positive, as it's about gaming and gaming aught to be fun.  With that in mind, i was actually pleased by the kickstarter update this morning suggesting that core set could be a pretty attractive set .

$130,000 - full color rule book.

$140,000 - Unlock a CS Skelebot Squad -- five Skelebots added to the box game (all the same pose). Skelebots are the Coalition's hunter-killer robots programmed to seek out and destroy D-Bees, mages and other enemies of the Coalition States.

$160,000 - 2 additional double-sided set-on tiles added to the Boxed Game.

$180,000 - 2 additional heroes added to the Boxed Game; Body Fixer and the City Rat. The Body Fixer is an underground doctor who treats heroes and enemies of the Coalition States. The City Rat, a tough street punk armed with cybernetics and street smarts.

$200,000 - Additional Coalition Dog Pack added to the Boxed Game, for a total of 8 Dog Boys and 2 Psi-Stalkers in the box. Dog Boys are genetically engineered bloodhounds and trackers who can sniff out and psionically sense magic users and psychics. Psi-Stalkers are human mutants, psychics themselves, who command Dog Packs to hunt down mages, psychics, and other enemies of the Coalition.
