New Rifts Boardgame Miniatures
« on: 26 April 2017, 05:51:08 PM »
I am painting up the the test prints of some of the new Rogue Heroes Rifts Miniatures for use in the demo games for the forthcoming Kickstarter so far I have painted 5 of the Coalition Troopers and the Glitterboy, I have 4 more characters to paint which will be completed this weekend to be posted to Rogue Heroes for the Demos. Lovely models, what I have been waiting for for along time.

I will post the other models once they have been shared on their Facebook page

Glad to have you back.

Any news on the Operation Red Veil that you had pre-ordered for me in July, to settle what you owe me?

Now that's interesting. I still have a ton of old RIFTS stuff, but that Glitter Boy alone would be worth it - I just hope they fix those awful striations on the production models.

Neat models and ones I'd even want to pick up (just for some of the generic sci-fi stuff) but I think this project is absolutely doomed.  Shame too.

Wow, that glitter boy looks neat.  Will you have a Juicer miniature as well?

Is there actual hope that  KS is going to really happen? And if it does will be fulfilled w/o major roadblocks?
I am hoping so as that GB is left. SAMAS and Dog Packs to boot please.
I myself am very skeptical.

My honest money right now is on "no".  That being said, there are probably enough Rifts fans out there who haven't followed the debacles regarding this project who might fund it.  Whether anything comes of it once funded or not, is...unknown.  Between the relationship to a Palladium IP (i.e. Kevin Siembeda) and the mayhem regarding one of this project's key guys...I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole.

Selfishly, I will admit I hope it happens and somehow gets produced - I'd love to get some of the Rifts minis (SAMAS please! oh...and some TGR while we're at it) but risk-wise I wouldn't go near this thing.  (insert Sad Panda)  :-I

after reading through some of the past regarding the Palladium i am now uncertain as to whether I'd back a project like this now.

shame really as the Glitter boy, Juicers and  dog boys are what I really want...

Elysium,

Thanks for posting the pictures.  The pieces look great.  Unlike the others I am hopeful for this project.

I third the *demands* for SAMAS suits.

I totally thought they were the coolest thing in the world in my youth.
