The Lead Legion is formed of Space Marines from various chapters who are removed from their current service due to their consistent collecting of fiddly bits aboard the battle barge and an incessant need to tinker with and paint their power armour... lol
Yay!

Like Deathwatch, but fighting tiny alien invaders.

I also will be adding a Demi-squad and the rest will be become power armoured Inquisitors armed various ways for shadow wars.

Standard demi with heavy bolter, flamer and sgt with power fist, ok with you?

All the best

So - any news on the suggested transfers or shoulder pads with Chapter (Forum) emblem?

And: I am sorely tempted to make a Chaos SM version - these guys have replaced the chapter emblem with the mark of the elder god (yet another incarnation of Tzeentch), which is temptingly sitting next to the tower and moon....

If anybody wants to have the decals printed by a custom printing service I can send them the file in any format required. (they are drawn in vectors)

I would need to track down a correct marine shoulder pad model since I don't have any on hand myself to measure up and 3d sculpt the symbol on.

Equally, I need a metal version to sculpt on if I am going to try the traditional method with green stuff.....

I'll be starting to assemble mine, but I'm short of pieces - so it'll be partial for a bit.

Upon release of their current service they are required to soak their power armour in either Simple Green or Dettol to remove any traces of their origins.

YPU and Mason - I'll check my bits for shoulder pads. I have some but I don't know if I have a metal one. Will drop you guys a PM on Thursday (that's my day off).

Precisely.  Lead Legion marines may have served in two, three, sometimes as many as five other chapters previously. :D

Do we have a colour scheme for vehicles?

I have a jetbike and I was thinking of doing it in the dark camo colour (which I hope to create by mixing Kahki and a bit of Luftwaffe green).

I'm still reading up on my Space Marine lore, I might have to bump you from the two roles (as in the Emperor's Champion/Company Champion and the 1st company captain aren't usually one and the same). What do you want to be? Or for the Lead Legion is this the case that they are one and the same?

Champion probably works best then. :)

I just realised I'd be a Dreadnought.

Not because of the firepower or unstoppability, but because Dreads are only activated and dragged out for important battles, and spend the rest of their time in hibernation... same as I do, coming up with new stuff only for the Build Something and LPL events as a rule  ;D

I have five Tac Marines ready for undercoating, led by Sgt. Punchy McBigfists
Which company do you prefer to serve in? And for others that plan to serve in the Lead Legion (I think we're going with this name), let me know.

Do we have a colour scheme for vehicles?
Use chapter colours or camo. There's a fair bit of flexibility.

Champion probably works best then. :)
Okay. Who will be 1st company captain? (General question to the group.)

I just realised I'd be a Dreadnought.
Done. Do you have one to paint? If so, which company do you prefer to serve in?
