BLAM actually began yesterday, so there would have been quiet a few taking days off to attend.

The only UK public holiday that falls on a Friday is Good Friday, or if Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's happen to fall on a Friday. Otherwise public holidays are always Mondays. Don't ask me why. I have no bloody idea.

Lucky Brits and your bank holidays. Our public holidays are, in the vast majority, based on ecclesiastical calendars (or otherwise on fixed dates) and thus move around to usually the most inopportune day of the week, or are smack bang on Thursdays if fixed.

Didn't get a chance to play on it unfortunately,  but it really is even more impressive close up. The painting is incredibly effective.
