Isolation workbench-undercoated
« on: 26 January 2021, 10:24:20 PM »
Having to isolate due to a colleague contracting the dreaded covid.
I'm fine so far so making good use if the time!
Started as a house, grew upwards then gained an extension.
No plan, just altering as I see fit.
Experimenting with materials/textures too.
Next major job is tiling.

Wonderful looking structure. The different materials will provide a nice mix of textures when painting. Are you going to fill the wall between the wooden beams with anything?

That will be a plaster/stucco look.
The small brick plasticard pieces are to show repairs.
Will probably use PVA with tile grout on top

Beautiful. Not having a plan has really worked, its got an organic quality that makes it feel very real.

Bit more done, just need to spend ages making and glueing tiles then some fiddly bits of prettiness

Tiled, textured and given a quick coat of primer.
