Star Trek original series floor plans?
« on: August 29, 2017, 09:28:28 PM »
I've recently been painting up some 28mm figures from CP Models and Hasslefree.
What I will actually do with them is another matter.

Does anyone know of any source for downloadable/printable floor plans that could be of use please?

Failing that it'll be a standard dusty planet with plastic rocks...

White Dwarf sometime last century had bridge p!ans.

If you are in the UK, The Works had Haynes owner's manual for USS Enterprise (various models) going cheap with (I think) plans.

The old FASA RPG had a bunch of floor/deck plans in various products.  Need to be rescaled for minis, but they'd be a starting place.

Modiphius will be releasing "GEOMORPHIC DECK TILES" as part of their Star Trek RPG range.

Try these http://scifijaz.com/startrekblueprints.html. You will have to resize but it's a starting point.

One problem you will have is the bridge and parts of the ship changed over the series!

You may strike lucky on the new LCARS site but I think they only have thumbnails now http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/index.php

you can get a free paper model of the bridge here

http://www.papercraftsquare.com/star-trek-uss-enterprise-ncc-1701-bridge-free-paper-model-download.html

It's not a blue print but can be used as the starting point for your games.

Thanks for the ideas.
That paper bridge is amazing..it would however look like a squashed Cornflakes packet if I built it...

They did complete plans for the Enterprise and a Klingon D7. IIRC they're designed for card counters so they'd work with 15mm-ish minis. Some sort of generic clean high tech corridor system would do nicely for most use of the ship you see in an episode. Even card floors like space hulk would work at a push.
