Just for you Lon , I sneaked a quick use of the Mrs kitchen scales . It comes in a hairs width under 2lbs ( that's including the base and detailing.). Sounds a lot but picking it doesn't feel like much at all. I suspect that an MDF building on the same scale would probably either weigh the same or even slightly more.
It also occurred to me I've never actually had the notion too or need to weigh anything in my collection.

Every train station I've ever been to has had some seriously dodgy types hanging around. Went to Leeds at the beginning of January and there was a bloke kissing the Hand dryer in the platform toilet's.( I decided I could probably wait a little longer for a pee,and walked up the hill into town.)

Quick Disclaimer I disliked this kit long before,I ended up with one.
Which is well known amongst my friends,and its why I've ended up with one. Because they also know I'll make a gift first over continuing a project. They also know I couldn't just build it as is. But more over they think they're funny.
So here's as much effort I can muster for it.
It's most definitely not working on a 4-6  track ratio even in 'scale' .Even though the chap on the stall was very vocal on it being a scaled model. It isn't in any scale I know. It would be fairer to say it's more likely a scale representation than a scaled model.
It's going on a shelf and maybe end up on a siding as a piece of scenery rather than represent a 'train '.Im just going to scratch build a locomotive and coaches.

Looks great though, you did a fantastic job. Who made the kit? Doesn't look like the old Sarissa Precision MDF train and I didn't know anyone else was doing trains in MDF with molded details like that. Or was it a toy?

Here's a little more progress on the Horten IHe.38 inspired scenery piece. It's no where near a model of one just inspired by one.Ive still some details and the props to add.Possibly a rubble themed base.

Earlier this week I spent the evening sculpting/musing/ remembering . How to sculpt a horse  I did enough to remember what not to do.So I left it at that.
But this evening I sat down with intention of painting a GW giant that's been mocking me from months.
But I managed to convince myself. I'd be better off leaving it for another day and mashing up a rider for the horse instead.
This is as far as I got before I painted myself into a corner with wet clay. Then deciding to call it a night,

Honestly, I've seen much worse horses too, that one looks fine to me.

Your absolutely right 
It did end up with a Mr Blessed meets Warhammer feel.  But I couldn't go to bed with that arm positioned like that so I gave in and repositioned it after I posted the pictures.
