For the Aluminum mesh if your in the States then Hobby Lobby has a few options.
Check out their clay sculpting aisle.
Also, Tulle is in their bolts of cloth section. It inst aluminum but it has its use as well. chain link fences for example. Had a few other ideas as well.

Great work here! Hoping to join you all soon, picked up the vehicles but backlogged with other projects.

Would love to hear more about your various methods for weapon attachment, especially magnetized mounting... e.g. how do you ensure a high-strength rare earth mag won’t rip off either component AND looks integrated with small weapons atop it?

I superglue the magnets into holes drilled in 1mm plastic card.  I've never had any problem with magnets coming loose.

Getting things to look integrated can be a problem.

Don't want to hijack anyone else's thread so here's a place to post pictures of your Gasland conversions.  I'm looking for inspiration.

I've only got two cars completed so far, one inspired by the classic Mad Max Interceptor (with added flames).

And a pick up truck with a similar paint scheme and swappable weapons held on with magnets.

I realise that this is an old thread but Derek, if you are still out there listening, could I please ask, what scale vehicles do you start out with and where do you buy the models? I'm assuming eBay but is there a particular seller which is very good?
