Progress on the mid section. Still building the basic shape before detailing starts. Until I get the engine block done, not exactly sure what the landing gear height will be.


and the engine block. Yup just a heavily reinforced box as this is what the engines will hang off.


And in other news, Amazon just more than doubled the price of the chipboard I get. Arghh and other sounds of anguish.  No solid gold vanity for the captain's quarters.

Quick update. First three engine pods of the engine block completed. The other 5 are at various stages of completion.

Thanks all. Meanwhile, on the engine production line...

Most of the detailing pieces, pre-cut and ready for assembly.


The production line with engines at various stages of completion; most are now finished.


And a closeup of a finished engine. A coat of ModPodge to come and some painting  of the hard to access areas. I may still add a few more details later given time and how it looks once the engine block is assembled but the rest of the ship needs work also.


Not just working on engines. Forging ahead with the bridge section.
