Niðavellir Shipyard - Dropfleet Commander
« on: 24 February 2018, 07:40:40 PM »
My friend Filip and I decided to make a Dropfleet Commander dedicated blog.
The plan is to collect all our Dropfleet related miniatures and efforts there. To collect links and things to the game at this place.
A small hub in space.
Its still in construction but we feel its ready enough to take on visitors.

Welcome to the Niðavellir Shipyard

http://nidavellir-shipyard.blogspot.se

Some of things to come you may already have seen from my Dropzone thread but I will add up with newer material.

I bought a gaming mat from Deep Cut Studio and I really love it.

My friend is currently building a large Space station.
That plastic kit is really fun to build with.

The mat looks good with your nicely painted ships on top. After seeing a few games I'm tempted - but I can't be distracted (yet!).

Three brand new corvettes directly from the shipyard to my UCM.
I really like these models.
Each of the ships have been given a unique decoration.

Two small cargo ships from Brigade Models. These were a pure joy to paint.

Excellent addition! I love well thought-out auxiliaries.

I was a bit surprised by the under-dimensioned engines, as I assume they'd need to be strong to 'drag' rescued ships.

Absolutely, should be undergunned, if gunned at all. Not that familiar with Dropship, though a I'm dyed-in-the-wool vacchead, but 'never leave home without railguns' seems right out!  ;D
