About bloody time! :D

So rude!  :D

Have finished more of the Red & Greens minis - 2 more Knights and various add-ons to Retinues:

And all of the 24 R&G that are finished:

With the Yellow & Blues force, I now have 48 finished, none of which are the same. There’s been some swapping about of heads and/or arm positions plus the different colours for each Knight (10 so far) and their individual Retinues.

Further additions will include some spearman from 1st Corps (excellent service) who are less static but who come with pot helmeted heads, some of which have gone onto Crusader bodies (see below).

I’ve also added carts. The tax/loot cart is from Boothill Miniatures and the hay cart from Perry (WotR). All 3 horses are converted  from Perry Mules.

Finally, another peasant (Perry WotR conv), a laden donkey (Pegasus plastic conv), and the Baron’s dog:

I’m just finishing assembling some of the mounted alternates for the 10 Knights and 4 Serjeants that have been finished, then it will be on with painting the castle (which thus far is only undercoated).

Is he punching that poor donkey in the face??!!

What Perry range are the mules from, and how are they converted? Would be interested in some of them as alternatives to the Perry wagon horses.

Thanks all  :D

There are many, many more to come.  My plan is for:

20 Knights with Mtd Alts
16 Serjeants with Mtd Alts
48 MAA Spears
24 MAA Longbows
24 MAA Crossbows
16 Levy Spears
16 Levy Longbows

164 plus 36 Mtd Alts

These can form one force or be split into two equally sized forces. The Levy is small simply because I read that in the smaller ‘local’ actions the full Levy was not called out.

Plus there’s also the Baron and his Household and sundry Villagers

Btw, the hay is simply the chopped-up bristles from a DIY paint brush, PVAed to cover a foamboard block. The hay is painted.

lol. It does look like that!  :o

I believe the mules were from ACW74 6-horse team plus driver.

I mislaid or otherwise used elsewhere my WOTR horses (possibly for Old West) and I had the mules to hand. IIRC all I’ve done is change the ears to make them into passable horses. They did have mules back in the 13th but horses just seemed more appropriate.

PS: I’ve also got the Reaper Jabberwock
