Thanks folks!
I've painted a few more, and ordered another few, so there'll be an update soon!

How did you do the bases?
Nothing special here. Just Vallejo Black Mud (that one comes with some little pieces of sand and wood chips in it, so they give a bit of extra texture to the base) applied to the whole base, then paint it using a mix of AK Mud Brown and Light Earth (brown goes as a first layer, then, while it's still wet, I apply randomly light earth to the most part of the base, then some highlights here and there with pure light earth, maybe adding some white in it), with added watered down Frog Green at the end to imitate low grass (not a big fan of flock!). Then Gamers Grass tufts from Green Meadows set.

This is a really neat basing method and I may incorporate some more of these ideas. They really did come out looking so great for a manageable system, very cool. I was intrigued by this because I've never settled on my own, switching between pumice, texture pastes, and sand. I agree with you on flock, that was a super old school look that matched the style and colors I think of the time. Static grass however is pretty interesting, and have been (somewhat ridiculously) playing with one of those static grass...static producers, to pour it on and have the grass stand up straight, and it was actually pretty impressive, and funny to realize how wrong I'd been using it all these years. Keep up the good work!
