I finally found the time to get these finished, so here are a few quick shots of the coloured-in efforts.

Better pictures that illustrate the 'clever bit' later.....

.....Can't wait to see a shot with them on the table!

Neither can I, to be honest, as I want to see how it looks with some of the scatter stuff that is already done.
Hopefully I will get a chance to do that later in the week.

Now for 'Da Clevva Bit!'

Here are the two buildings side by side, the biggest of the two on its base board easily fits neatly in an A4 paper box with just enough space around it to cover it in bubblewrap when stored.

Which is quite handy as I just need to cut a box down to size.
The actual cunning plan involved with these buildings is not that though, as all of my buildings fit in A4 paper boxes.

It is this....

....the larger roof pieces, including the smallest tin, are all removable leaving just the lower sections which hold them in place when assembled.

The small tin is then opened and all of the other roof pieces from the large building fit inside it....

The smaller building is then opened and the small tin and the pieces from the roof then fit neatly inside this tin...

The smaller building is then closed and fits neatly inside the larger building.....

....which is then closed, with all of the component pieces now inside it. This is then placed in the A4 paper box.

Which means that both of the buildings now actually take up less space than the larger one alone when it is assembled.
I reckon this is the way forward with my sci-fi scenery as space is now an issue (because I already have too much scenery, apparently..  ::) ) so I shall have to utilise it well.

Wodya reckon?
 :)
