Just wish I could find a 28mm ant eater!

In the cartoon strip 'BC' one of the cavemen is bitten by an ant.
In the next frame he reappears with the Ant Eater under his arm
& uses it on the ants like a machine gun, Zot, Zot, Zot, Zot, Zot!

Brilliant stuff ... I love the leopard and the termite mounts ... and all the rest. I do hope you enjoy playing games with these.

But then ... are anteaters native to Africa? I thought you can only find them in Central and South America. I think you might be looking for an aardvark ... sadly I didn't find one of those in 28 mm either ...

I found an Aardvark…though why it’s bundled up with a kangaroo and a koala, I can only guess!   It will have to wait.

Maybe 'Western', there used to be a TV series when I was a kid, it was set
in Australia & was based around a Stagecoach line. I think the series was
called, 'Whiplash'. There is also Tom Selleck in the film Quigley down under.

Well I have a week and a half to get some opposition painted for the funding party, as well as a few more Askari hired help.   Then I’m away to learn the rules for Congo and have a few games.

Of course, this assumes the Ngoni turn up along with a small foundry order with a few more Askari….oh, and the rules! Lol

The animals will continue to be painted when I get a chance but they will have to take a back seat when the humans arrive.

I also have some aquarium grass in order so may get a shot at a few patches of elephant grass….time willing.

Orynx are based…ear replaced!    May start painting these soon

So, by stating  I needed an “Anteater”, I simply and generally meant Aardvark or Pangolin, as they both eat ants or more likely termites!
