Thank you everyone! I should say that I did not come up with the modification to the building itself, that I used. Recommend watching that guy on 0.75 speed though, he talks super fast.

Nice build.

I'm just waiting for the blacksmith's apron to go fluttering away in the breeze and land at the bottom of the steps ;)

Haha, and a ranger rides by wistfully looking at the apron in the breeze. Something is not right in the blacksmith's house....

Nice piece of scenery.  Rohan house works nicely for that.

Wow, lots of great stuff here.  The mounted Viking-esque cavalry especially.  Great work!

Lovely buildings.

I hope they're not in the same village as the blacksmith, or he might start to wonder why the guy with the forge is the only one in the village with a flammable house!

Here's another episode in "What I kitbashed recently". No particular game in mind for these, may not even paint them, but I really like how they came together. Oathmark light elves with bits from Perry, Fireforge and Victrix to make some Tolkien-inspired Rangers.

Thoughts?

Excellent - those Rangers look like they’d fit in with a variety of fantasy settings.

Trying my best not to order the elves ... don’t need any more plastic right now  ;D

I really dig what you’ve done here. As I’m about to order some Fogou huts, I’m curious what it is you base them with? Plastic? Wood? Foam?

I’d love to read about your basing technique here!

All of the above. Two of them are based on 2mm mdf, two on 2mm plasticard and the hilltop one is foam. I use Vallejo texture paste to texture and then a mix of flocks, finshing with some grass tufts.
