Well, I have made some progress. I partially repainted the heavy cavalry from my Starks, and this is what they turned out like:


The heraldry is two black peaks with snowy tops.

Then I got going on the medium cavalry, must say I'm very happy with the look of these. They feel like proper ruffians.

That was fast indeed! They look great, good choice of colours and well painted. I like the shield design on the medium cav better than that of the heavy cav. The abstract design of the mountain peaks looks better to me than the realistic design.

Here we go, another update. Got these four Black Scorpion ogres a while back, and have now put some paint on them. They are a little cluttered for my tastes, to many small details, but nice sculpts anyway.

I think they look excellent- I especially like the color palette; it’s subdued but has enough variety to be visually interesting. They’ll be a tough fight for whatever opponents end up on the other side of the battlefield!
