Yes, that's a great looking set up, Chris!  Looking forward to seeing how the battle develops.

In other news, rules author, Buck Surdu, hosted a virtual Ozz game this past weekend for Greg Priebe and I on Zoom, and we recorded the entire game to post online.     It is now available on Youtube for anyone interested in seeing how the rules play.  The video starts off with the multiscreen view we commanders had, and then switches to a full table view so you can better follow the action. Also, note the rules are still under final development so there will be points where we discuss various rules and how they are working; but in general the basic mechanics are all there.

Rules author Buck Surdu has posted a rules overview video to Youtube where he explains some of the basic mechanics like shooting, moving, melee, etc:

Where do the little coloured roof buildings in this Game report picture come from?  Are they going to be part of the range?

Glad you enjoyed it, Helen!

robh- Chris Abbey build those buildings from food container bottoms, and 3D printed roofs.   I believe that the plan is to produce something similar for the range, but not these identically.

Thanks, that style of buildings will be ideal for the game. Those 3 work really well.

The buildings in the photos were made by me, with modified 3D prints from other buildings for the roof and 'Starbucks' cups for the base. However we do have someone working on some buildings that we will be able to cast.

I have just finished uploading photos and completing a write up for the whole game. This is now on my hobby blog @ http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Hobby-Pages/Hobby-Blog/Wars-of-Ozz-First-Solo-Battle

The world of Ozz is home to many mysterious and fantastical creatures and peoples who can be hired as allies or mercenaries to fight alongside any factions army. Each unit brings with it some unique ability; may be it can fly or it is harder to target with shooting or lowers it's enemies resolve or throws stones as effectively as cannon fire.

Wars of Ozz is live and fully funded on Kickstarter at the moment.https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackstone/wars-of-ozz

I was totally blown away by these new sculpts from Bob Naismith for 'Adventurers of Ozz' character pack, which is the free give away pack on the Wars of Ozz kickstarter campaign @ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackstone/wars-of-ozz

We've also made our sets of 'Flags of Ozz' available as a free download.
