Greetings from North Dakota
« on: 20 May 2020, 03:55:44 AM »
Hello,

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Daniel Sauerwein and I've been into wargaming for roughly the last six years. I am into historicals, especially FIW and World War II, but have also jumped into World War I, Napoleonics, and Wild West.

I work as an archivist and am a historian by academic training. I live in North Dakota and when I am not engaging in this hobby, I am indulging in my other hobby of doing American Civil War living history. I am also active in my community, working with local veterans groups, as a member of the Sons of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliary (both my parents served in the Army, with my Dad making it a career).

I am always looking to learn tips and tricks to improve my painting and making of terrain kits, especially as my eyesight is poor, but I do manage. Anyway, I just wanted to drop a line to say hello and introduce myself to this community. Have a great day.

Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy the painting and terrain making.  If you have not already done so, wander through the LPL forums and terrain building contests.  A lot of wonderful talent in those posts!  Definitely inspires me.
