While visiting Bovington Tank Museum I saw a sign that extolled
the local beer, 'We use real Piddle in our Ale'.
Years ago, I used to work around that area. There is (or was) a pub at Piddletrenthide called The Piddle Inn. The River Piddle runs nearby and the landlord of the pub used to sell bottles of river water to tourists labelled 'Piddle Water'.
