Anyone in the know and reading this thread, what time was the khaki drill used in the early war issued from? Got a bunch of free 8th army sprues but thinking they might do for vbcw, or am i better of just keeping them for ww2?

No AA or air-support? There's always a gap in even your collections I suspect.

Inspirational stuff. I have built some early war elements for a Scot Column but even in my 20mm scale I can't touch your Western Desert Steam-Roller.

There are lots of different colours used in the collection from the original Caunter colours to various shades of light blue grey to represent my interpretation of the affect the sun had on the Silver Grey part of the original scheme.

I have some air support but that isn't shown here, as for AA it just hasn't come up in our games yet, we are mid Op Compass so a pointless mounted Bren was probably your lot
