Well i have finally got the pikemen done for the first unit of 36, just
the command and a few zweihanders to finish, progress so far, last image is of the 7 figures left to paint

I am having a break from painting shades of green and also doing a similar project. Well its been one that has been going on for over 40 years  lol

Thanks Paul, judging by how long my first unit takes and how many countries were involved
i think i will be here for a while ! like yourself, but they are a colourful bunch to paint
and an interesting history

Yes it a fascinating period of warfare and makes the ECW easy to understand  lol

There look great - really colourful and very much how I imagine Landsknechtes.  Very nice paint job.

Thanks bigredbat, colours are mainly GW contrast paints with some vallejo model colour
thrown in for difference
