Kong Book
« on: 01 September 2009, 04:38:42 PM »
Just bought "The World of Kong - The Natural History of Skull Island" in Reading's 99p Store, might be worth keeping an eye out in the rest of the chain stores. It's published by WETA, and although it doesn't have stills/photos of the flora and fauna from the movie, there's still plenty of eye candy for inspiration.

The same store has got plastic aquarium plants in stock as well, you get 3 or 4 per packet, cheap source of jungle terrain!
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

Thanks for that.
I'll have a look around the one that has just opened up in Didcot.
I don't know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

What an amazing price!!  I bought mine used from Amazon for $15!

Too bad the film didn't have the beasties the book did.
So you started a military Coup,
I'm sorry it only back-fired on you.

I still haven't procured mine. But I have seen some pictures from the book. There were some excellent critters in there. :)
Everything is better with lizardmen.

I would have enjoyed some art of camp scenes, and explorers on the expedition.  The Prof running from the Dino is a good appetizer, but I wanted more...
