Front Rank HYW Knights & GW Bretonnian Horses Compatibility?

I have about a dozen Bretonnian horses (actually from the MB/GW game Battle Masters) and was thinking of buying some Front Rank HYW knights to put on them as a basis for a Hordes of the Things semi-historical army. I've got Front Rank Naps so I know they are a good size, just wondering if anyone had any experience with Front Rank riders on GW horses? Were they a good fit?

I've seen GW horses used with the mounted models from Front Rank HYW range but only in a series of conversions.

Certainly it would be easier to fit a metal mounted model to a plastic horse with a bit of tender loving care then the other way around. In my experience that is. If you're going for the Late HYW why not just use the Perry Plastics?
