I’ve been slowly adding figures that are going to be used alongside my Medieval collection in games of Fistful of Lead using the new fantasy supplements and Dragon Rampant for larger games.

I am being selective with choosing  figures that I think will look right alongside knights, men at arms etc in my particular setting which is essentially C12th-C13 England.

First up a pair of wizards/magic users from the far Northlands.

William of Connolly:

Robert of Coltrane:

A friendly giant loyal to the wizards, Bernard of Breslaw:

A Dwarf Lord from the low-Lands, Sir Ronald de Corbett:

The beginnings of a Forest dwellers force, Dryads:

For scale purposes, I think they look suitably imposing and quite scary,

Lots more to come!

Nothing like a little bit of whimsy, and those Dryads are very well done. It'll be interesting to see who turns up next from the Halcyon Days of British light entertainment.

Very nice, I will follow this with interest, I like 'low' fantasy... as in, fantasy with realistic armour, clothing etc.

These look great. The pale base colour for the bases including rims is striking. Is that choice to blend in with a specific mat or board or just to look cool?

And those Dryads do look properly scary!

All very nice (and droll). Those dryads are particularly good. Are they GW?

 Thanks for the comments chaps.

Boneio The base colour is the Foundry Sand Triad. I have used it on all my figures. I like the lighter base, I think it makes the figure stand out more.

Blacksoilbill Yes, the Dryads are the GW ones. I have another six figure group to make up as well. :)

Excellent additions to your collection. The ogre/giant is really well done and I'm so impressed I want one now!

Those dryads look very good too, I like the subtlety with the paint scheme and foliage.

Lovely work.

Nicely done, sir. The first Fistful of Lead Fantasy book is geared for precisely the setting you are working on.
