Ah, well... It's been a while.
Finally I got to painting the lot, and started the process yesterday. No uniformity in livery, a pretty motley crew.

Meanwhile, I decided to add some heavy metal and give my troops more punch!

Nicely done! How are these going to be based?

Really nice poses for the artillery crew, good conversions. Is the gun from Old Glory by any chance?

Charlie_,

Thank you! The plan is to base the sword-and-shield crowd in units of six on 55X45 mm MDF.

As to the cannon - it is indeed an Old Glory piece!

And they are all looking great. Looks like I missed a few updates in over the past few months. Ether way they are all good.

I somehow got distracted by high-tech (for the 15th c., that is  ;) ) warfare equipment, and before I knew it - voila, the first artillery piece is kind of ready.  I changed the crew mix in the process, replacing the guy with ramrod (or cleaning rod?). Perhaps I will add some cannon balls so that the base does not look too empty .

Nicely done!

For 'clutter' on artillery bases, Front Rank has some useful 15th century artillery boxes and other bits and pieces.

Hi again,
Yes, I realise I owe my sword-brandishing infantry a lot, and one day I will pay my dues, - I do solemly promise!
But I decided that I needed some reinforcements as represented by a unit of somewhat heavier cavalry. And - here it is! Again, Perry plastics as the basis with minor surgery.

Well, folks, the foot crowd is done!
It took some time, but I am happy with the outcome of this labor of love despite somewhat sloppy painting  lol
All Perry plastics, different sets, lots of conversions.

Hi folks,
I figured it would be appropriate to field some heavy (and I mean heavy  :D) infantry. One good thing about the boys in shining armor is that they are rather easy to paint - at least, in my case: just slap some metal paint on, and you're good!

Oh, and I am still undecided regarding the flag, hence a simple brass rod.
