Wow! I just love that Jabberwocky! Great paintjob! The background also fits very well.

The spider 🕷️ Is super cute! It demands for a Night Goblin horde.

And those dwarfs: good catch. I loved them when they were new and I still appreciate Julie Guthrie‘s dwarfs today. They aged pretty well!

Thanks Florian!

Night goblins would be a cool addition, have to brainstorm a bit, and look what I got left in the lead pile.

Thanks LouieN! I also like the dwarves, I think the Mirliton and Red Hammer Kickstarter ones will be my base for the core units and more Tolkien inspired force.

A terrific collection of beasties, and a good job done on fixing up the gangly creature. I can imagine that's one for the bubble wrap box.

Thanks Doodler!!!

So now its time for the BIG UPDATE bevor the Summer Brake! I was still busy doing TT stuff, but a bit lazy posting.

I modified two wooden Boxes into boards for Necropolis28 in 15mm Scale. Both have a surface layer in the lid and a underground layer in the box. Following a board idea I had for Mordheim with a surface layer and a rat infested sewerage.

The first was a bit Mordheim inspired. The upper layer in the lid is a demolished City enclosure (Maybe by a meteor :D), breaking a hole, revealing the underground network of the city.

The second board was a present. The idea was a hill grave in the corner of the lid, over which you can enter the box and grave itself.

And now we continue with my slot base effort for Fantastic Battels and Hobgoblin.

Making the bases out of foam rubber followed by magnetic foil and card board. 40x40mm Bases fitting perfectly in Spellcrows movement trays 80x40mm. Being very proud that I was able to fit 6 Models on 40x40, so that i can have shield wall like formations of 12.

And finally an old school forest dragon from citadel. Lovely little guy. I wanted to mirror the leaves of the tree tops in his wings. Wanted to capture a camouflage feeling.

Now a 3 Week break and then I hope to get some orcs done.

Loving following the progress.  The terrain boxes are neat.

Absolutely mindblowing!  :o :o :o Can’t even say what’s best. The basing work really well and the dragon is a true gem!

Nice looking minis, 15mm is the best scale for fantasy mass battle

Thank you! Yes hopefully I will be able to post some nice mass battle action the next months.

Still alive and painting. So today I managed to finish some small skeletons. Original 10mm Spellcrow, they will be a Force of halfling skeletons for my fantasy troops.
At the moment I’m a bit frustrated painting wise, so I’m happy to finish them. Not my best work, but hey i think they look good for the table.

And some old Minifigs, I turned into an ancient spirit guard. The sculpts are a bit weak for my ancient projects but I think they work perfect for this! Decided to give them a aggressiv arrow formation, a bit like the ring wraiths in the movies.  :D

Also I build a picture base to use hodgsons backdrops.

Great work on the figures! They look good with the backdrops, too. (I am biased on that point, though, already being a fan!)

As I said: I do like them. The bases are particularly good and work well for a northern landscape. The undead are actually really nice and I love to see that you discovered another range that seems to be wrongly labeled (and is rather small 15s than 10mm)!
