Nic,
All the infantry in phase one are advancing with or without backpacks, correct?

Wave One is now ready to order.
They should be ready to ship before the end of August. Each deal comes with a free pre-order special figure, the War Reporter, but we haven't pictures to show you just yet. I'll post them here when I have them.

These are great,l probably wouldn't take with them but just buy them to paint. I especially like the aircraft though, they might see some action!

These look fun! I do get the pseudo-nostalgia thing.

I'm really excited for these to come out. Digging through potentially suitable rules sets and making a final decision on which country I'll lead to defeat...

Rules? You just want a few old Britains or Crescent cannon, the spring loaded ones that shoot little projectiles or at a pinch, match sticks. Good god man, what do you think gloss enamel paint is for if not protection?  ;)

Would like to see how these size up against Mark’s existing 28mm ranges.

Mark describes them as 30mm ish.  As far as rules go, I’ll probably use The Portable Wargame for larger battles, and either The Sword and The Flame or One Hour Skirmish for smaller games.

Contemptible Little Armies seems the ideal rules for these.

Rebels and patriots? Just need a few adaptations 😀

Although described as 30mm, I am hoping all those nice interwar tanks and armoured cars Copplestone Castings used to sell (now with Empress) would work with these figures?

I want to love these and I do. But when chatting to guys at club they quite correctly pointed out that we have thousands of 30s figures between us. Namely 38!
I however have jumped on every Copplestone band wagon. Back of beyond then RCW and High adventure. Not to mention 1670 and barbarica. Most ranges I feel were never finished.

Mark has already sculpted the entire range, as can be seen on his Instagram page.  It’s a question of enough folks buying them to justify making molds and casting them up.

‘A gentlemen’s war’ rules should be ideal for these figures

I'm heading down a slightly different route for rules - my first thought is Blitzkrieg Commander as I love playing and haven't for a few years now. And possibly Crossfire too, if I get get hold of enough suitably styled scenery. And I'm hoping to try out Mark's own rules at some point.

But then I'll probably crack and write my own, too :-)

Is there any pics or info on how they scale with existing Copplestone or other Heroic 28mm ranges? I would like to make an army, but I will need to be able to play 'normal' 28mm ranges without it looking too odd.
