Love the work on the scroll! I have difficulty with even fake writing at that scale :/

Wow, Freddy, that administration guy is incredible - such an inventive and unique sculpt. Love the paint job as always.

Im trying to get into fimo sculpting, but it's early days. Have you ever thought about posting a run through on your sculpting technique? I'm always blown away when you casually reveal one of your minis is sculpted from scratch

Thank you guys! He is actually a mutant with an extra arm :) Or maybe just a vat grown addition.

Here is the whole team. Freddy Planet now has a proper set of administrators. They have an important role in my campaign play.

Maybe one day, but I rarely do WIP sculpting photos due to the simplye fact that my hands are dirty with the putty :)

A good quality 5/0 brush (changed frequently as with time it will be less pointy) and artist oil (acrlyics would dry into the brush quickly in that small amounts). Or you can try blackliner pens used by plane modellers, but I do not know if those come in blue.

I heard Peter Guilder once tell someone to use a sharpened  2B pencil & then spray varnish over.
The more lead in the pencil the darker it will appear after it is varnished.
You do have to repeatedly sharpen it as it blunts VERY quickly,
but it is very cheap.   :D

The Dinos are cool. Looking at their faces, A can't help feel it's a shame you didn't paint one purple as Barney. :)

Great stuff! The dinosaurs look brilliantly derpy, and the administratum officer is simply wonderful :-*

Thank you!

I wanted the dinos look friendly as they are beasts of burden, the local oxens and mules. I wanted them to lack the dynamism and agility usually associated with carnivorous saurids.

This sculpt is intended to be a spaceship crew, but he will also be casted, I already have ideas for alternative uses.

I did not sculpt a head for him, I plan to equip him with various leftover heads hanging around in my bitz box. This one is an old Space Wolf:

Love the new crew! His over-shoulder vox thing is a classic look.

Thank you, guys! I plan to do more ship crew figures! Also he has to work together with the GWs Imperial Navy figures.

Really nice as always- you’ve done a great job of retaining the aesthetic of the GW imperial navy while adding your own touch, really impressive :-*
