Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate it. I have all those factions in my background in various stages of completion, some assembled, some primed, some fully painted. Most need to be photographed. The first goal is to have Fistful of Lead squads, for those unaware, that consists of a leader, specialist, 3-4 regulars, and some add ons like a group of grunts, or a heavy weapons or light armor. Depending on which book you're using you can even get an airplane.

So to start, my KMT squad and some add ons. The Revolutionary Army of the Frontier.

Squad leader, a melee and SMG specialist

Regulars

4 pistol and sword grunts

And some armor support. I eventually want to build some dismounted crew for them.

And to follow up, the Municipal Police. Lt Louden and his trusty albeit pessimistic sidekick Sgt Sanjeev -a specialist with Ishapore Shotgun, plus a handful policeman and armored car. These lads are one of my smallest squads, but also one of my favorites. They were very fun to paint and I may get some more heavy weapons for them eventually.

The sgt frequently lectures and laments to Loudon. "Yes Sargent.. of course Sargent.. oh for God sakes Sanjeev calm down!"

I'm an armorer painter at heart.

Excellent town and figures.
I like the use of the Plasticville building, very clever.

PS,
I have had time this evening to look over your blog.
Very well done .
Love your Armoured cruiser on the rails.
Great story, love it.
Look forward to following along.

Brilliant - the setting, the town, the figures, the details, all of it is really great.

Looking forward to seeing the campaign pan out and jealous I'm not taking part.

A great start on the miniatures.  I don't recognise the Sikhs.  Who does those?

Thanks for the excellent inspiration. You have helped kickstart me back into my 1929 Sino Soviet war project. My Chinese are pretty much done but I have been lagging on my Soviets.

The town looks really good, lots of details to make it come alive. You mentioned many were scratch built buildings, what did you use for the tiled roofs, they look nery good.

They are indeed pulp figures by Bob Murch!

I got plastic sheet roof tiles off Amazon. I could have cut them a little neater, but they work great. Super cheap too.

The USS Miskatonic and shore party.. ashore.

Very much WIP. I dropped her last week and had to redo a bunch and fix some things.

Pulpfigures minis, gunboat from actualsizeminiatures on ebay. "HMS Fifi"
