Amazing table. It will be jaw-dropping when completed.

Wow, that's something else! Hugely impressive work so far and I can't help think that creating the whole town is going to be a work of art in its own right. It'll be useful for several of your favourite gaming periods too. I hope to have the pleasure of gaming on it one day!

Thanks all for your very kind remarks.

The next lot of tiles won’t get the same blow-by-blow coverage, though I will share the key stages such as their initial layout and then, of course, the finished pieces. One of the reasons I posted so much on these builds, was so that I had a reference for the next lot, which means that next time I won’t have to faff around quite so much.

Obvs it’s a ‘big’ project albeit one with many different uses but a ‘town’ is something I’ve wanted for a long time. My original medieval village is now seeming somewhat superfluous and so I might well be selling that, partly because the planned 10 tiles will take up a lot of space.

On the subject of storage, I’m contemplating sone high level shelves around the gaming room, so that they can be seen rather than boxed away when not in use.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Superb  8)

Thanks James.

I have to say that I highly recommend the OSHIRO models range of cast medieval buildings, which are (quite literally) the cornerstone of this project.

That I’ve been able to use them as I have is a testament to their versatility. 8)

Thanks also to you Steve, as your vast subject knowledge fed into the design work and provided further useful pointers along the way. I very much hope that you are able to play on it.  :)

Truly epic. It’s going to be one of the best LAF builds of all time. Outstanding work old chum.

Can’t wait to see it in the flesh  ;D

Truly remarkable!
You're home-made ones blend in perfectly with the Oshiro ones, there's no way to tell them apart.

I'd like to do a similar sort of project myself sometime soon using the Oshiro houses, this is inspirational.
