Warboss Nick, not having the large stuff at the moment may not mean he won't have it again.  His stuff seems to pop up and then down and then back up again.  So there may be hope.  Again, send him an email and see what he says.  Can't hurt.

Play-testing yesterday saw the European coalition get a good drubbing from the Barbary pirates and their Moor allies.  Adjusted some features of the game to balance it out and will run at Hurricon next Friday and Saturday in Orlando.

Scenario starts immediately after two large explosions rip through dilapidated sections of the Old Salle city walls at the break of dawn.  Initial turn was with the Barbary Pirates manning the ramparts and firing their matchlocks, wall guns and single cannon at the on rushing attackers.

Fighting was desperate and deadly at the two wall breaches.  Close quarters melee around the buildings especially ferocious as well.

Although the Irish were able to make it to where the captives were being held they were unable to resist the surge of Moor counterattacks in the city.  The end of the game saw the Irish being repulsed in their sector of the city while the Spanish cleared their areas and were headed to burn the remaining boats in the harbor when the game was called.

The Allie’s were successful in thwarting a side adventure the Barbary pirates had.  Reis Barbarossa had attempted to make it to his ship and sail out with his loot but the Spanish intercepted his band en route to the docks.  After a brief melee Barbarossa and treasure fled off table (to live another day!)

A final shot of the English/Irish contingent scaling the walls during the first part of the game.  A forlorn hope with their Captain has gained the rampart while intense fighting continues against the corner bastion. A light gun and dragoon troop supported this assault.
