Skeleton Warband
« on: 27 January 2024, 07:48:50 PM »
Been wanting to work on my bronzes, so Northstar's skeletons were a perfect opportunity.

Made up the numbers with some Mantic and Wargames Atlantic bits and an old Citadel Wight as the leader since it seemed to fit the theme.

Pics might not be as sharp as they could be, but what does the Collective think?  ???

I can’t speak for the Collective but I think you’ve done a good job, particularly with the verdigris.

They certainly look good to me! I agree about the verdigris, it looks quite convincing.

I would be quite happy to have them on my table.  Very nice job.

Very good, an effective rendering of aged bronze.

Thank you all.  :)

I'm going to have to sculpt a torc round the arm of the one holding his sword up in the first pic, as its been broken and glued three times now.  >:(
It held long enough to take a picture but it's gonna go again...

Realistically thin bones, there.

:o :o :-* :-* Superb, and very inspiring! I could well imagine them appearing in half-historical early Dark Ages / Arthurian games as well as in fantasy.
