Great job so far, & I feel sure it will look fantastic when finished.
I agree that some filler painted over the gaps will result in aiding the rickety/been through many winters look.

Work done over the Easter holiday:

The walls are done.

I also recut some of the bigger stones on the chimney.

Next I finished the side room.

Again I went with real wood (coffee stirrers this time) for some extra visual interest.

Then came the windows and the roof.

This is the current state of the building.

I really enjoy the building process (except for the roof. Cutting thin slices of foam is not fun o_o),  and I say the result speak for itself, but I doubt I will make another one the same way.
I would like to have 4 or 5 more, with similar looks for a small village, but building one takes a long time. And I still have to paint it...
I have some ideas how to make the process faster.
Anyway tomorrow I try to finish the roof.

Looking good. Great job with recutting the stones on the chimney, you've blended the two together nicely.

Beautiful build and you nailed that roof.

This is looking marvelous indeed!

The reworking of the chimney has worked out really well and the roof construction is impressive  8)

Thanks guys!

I finished the other side of the roof.

Now all it needs is texturing.
As for the house as a whole, the windows need shutters, the door needs some more details and the base needs some texture paint.

After that ,the last thing to build is a big wooden tub for crushing the grapes, and a simple structure to protect it from the elements.
Originally I wanted this to be an integral part of the building (as per the inspirational image), but with the building, and more importantly the roof being in a bit difficult shape I gave up this part.

That's a great build, the curved roof, the roof tiles, the individual bricks, it's all just so impressive  :-*
