Superb work on that scratchbuilt building. Although I am late to the party I can also second that the Essex 15mm are very good and easy to paint.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Appreciate it!

Good to hear another opinion about the Essex, really I'm between them and Peter Pig. If only the Essex packs I wanted were in stock at the aforementioned store in France... damned Brexit! *shakes fist*

I'll have to email them, and my French isn't too good :(

Peter Pig figures have been ordered; shoutout to Minairons in Spain, the guy running it is great and he ordered them for me from PP. Just the bare minimum to get started, budget is tight.

In the meantime, I'll be making a bit of terrain. Some roads are in order - I made some but I don't like them very much. Will probably make some fences out of matches as well :) also a few field fortifications, logs, breastworks, sandbags and the like.

Bit late to the party here but I thought I would volunteer my services. If you need small numbers of figures from UK manufacturers such as Peter Pig or Essex I am happy to buy them for you and then send them on. I would only ask for the cost of the figures plus the actual postage.

John
