The gondolas are nice models. Quite useful, in one game one of my werewolf PCs leapt onto a passing gondola, then off the other side onto a villa's steps, saving him having to fight his way across a defended bridge!

Mind you, I expect that probably scared the crap out of the hapless gondolier!! lol

Just the sort of thing that I'm hoping my games will be like!   :)

...and work commences on Casa Diana, which in La Carnevale di Scattocaso, becomes La Casa di Padrona Sculacciatore.

Completed my first plaza, to confirm my colour scheme for most of the Venetian streets. Bridges will get some extra work on them.

I've given this a lot of thought, and come up with the name 'Il Verde Ponte'.   ;)

Great job, just a detail: in Italian normally the substantive precedes the adjective, so it should be il Ponte Verde (unless you are being very poetic...)

Many thanks for the correction. I've amended my notes accordingly, cheers. It's nice to have things right.

Another detail: Carnevale is masculine in Italian, so it takes a masculine article, ie IL Carnvale...

The Green Bridge or the Bridge Green, be it a male or female bridge or even some other pro-noun, it looks damn good to me, as does the rest of this.

I'm particularly impressed with the dry brushing/stippling on the plaza, male/female I don't care, it still looks good.

Obviously the statue of the venerable Santo Vagabondini on the La Torres di Santo Vagabondini will be the centre piece of the city but I'm sure the rest of the buildings will be of a similar excellent stature, even if slightly overshadowed by this masterpiece.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses, hopefully to fruition but at least it's blossoming. :-* :-*

Got a bit of RSI from the stippling!

Ground and first floor complete on La Casa di Padrona Sculacciatore. Working on the second floor now.

Some small steps, for easy gondola access.

great stuff.

would try and get some weathering  in the buildings / terrain if poss. (but more than undertand in terms of time / results).

dab some white glue here and there, and chuck some sand / gravel on?

apologies if already discussed above etc.
