Only and forever 20mm and 1/72
Old school type rules such as "Battle" from C. Grant or even Featherstone, allow me, with a lot of compromise (bath tubed forces and some imagination) to game whatever i want..sometimes very small skirmishes with another old school goodie called  "Tactical Commander" by TTG and, if i have to simulate historical battles at brigade level or above..again with some compromise..i game with RF.

I have a couple of German platoons and a couple of tanks in 28mm which I game with a mates Americans using CoC.

We used to do 15mm and then 20mm. Kind of wish we had stuck with 20mm as it makes for a bigger game and the ranges seem better for tanks etc.

Only one, 15mm, but quite a bit of it. I think it's 8 full platoons all in all, British, americans, german infantry, all three countries' paratroop units. I find it to be the perfect scale for me; small enough to scale well on the table and quick to paint, but just big enough to so some more detailed paint work when I feel like it.

When I got into ww2 wargaming I started off with bolt action 28mm, but just a,little bit before i switched to 15mm.

I know myself, and I'm sure I'll probably get into 6mm ww2 at some point... lol
