Just finished these. My camera is acting strange though... I think my kids are the culprits.  :-[

I think you've just reached new levels of horror with that post-apoc keytar there.

Heh.  Nice work.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

Thank you, I think.  ;)

Excellent stuff!

Do you mind if I post one of the pictures on my nuclear renaissance blog?

All the best!

Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly

Really sinister looking, despite the awesome keytar!

Are those buttons on its neck the same colour as those on the Guitar Hero guitar?

Of course. It would be nice to have a place gathering NRII stuff.

Very nice! 8)

Thanks. I expect I'll force Jonas to get his water merchants in action against my Giggles later.  ;)

Hmm.. I wouldn't know. I'm not really in the know about the whole "connect random objects to your computer"-thing. Which in the eyes of many makes me an old fart I guess.  lol

The background in the book, states that the Giggles prefer to cover themselves in synthetic materials like plastic, that keeps the heat and easily rips if it gets caught in the heavy machinery. That's why I chose the strange yellow/orange as it seemed plastic to me,.

Haha!

I had a quick Google and the colours of the buttons are very similar to the Guitar Hero controller, but in a different order. I suspect I'm not going to be the last person to mention the similarity!

These two are going on my ever-expanding "to buy" list.

I'm pretty sure the keytar is some sort of experimental sonic weapon of doom! Probably for playing 80's electronica at volumes too high for the human ear to manage.

Sweet looking paint scheme. I can't wait to see how the rest of the giggles clan come out. I'm looking forward to getting mine too.

Mr Bellamy has mutated into a left-hander though  :?

Those look very good and I hope you can get the camera sorted.

Dagnammit! I even changed the side he held it on advice. Bad advice it seems! Of well, I end up sculpting loads of lefties anyway. I guess its from looking in the nirror for reference, the right becomes the left....

That's a shame. Wonder if they will be equally over-publiscised?

Brillaint models, good job!

Don't sweat it! They are lovely figures whatever the favoured hand. Just say it's a clone of Jimi Hendrix gone wrong  lol
