Prussian Forces Advance Towards Atlantean Town

Prussian forces who had landed to the east of the river at #22, pushed north towards a reported Atlantean Town. Having pummled the Brithish force sufficiently to make them await the off loading of further troopers, they pressed their advantage in true Prussian manner. Coming up against unknown native weaponry and said natives having the advantage of a defensive position, the action when it broke was heated and savage.



Prussian Forces on the right flank caught in column by submersible clockwork soldiers withering fire (great dice rolls:)
crumbled and broke. The Medium tank pounded back but seems the gun mount was defective as they proceeded to get few hits (really really bad dice). An order to withdraw saved most of the infantry and the slightly smoking tank covered their withdrawal, with the knowledge that they gatered intact.

Great report there Alfrik - at last we get to see some Atlantean beam weapons in action! They seem fairly effective against heavy armour... other potential aggressors please take note!

These Atlanteans seem pretty angry - I suspect the Prussians might have been a bit heavy-handed since their arrival, because in other places, the natives have seemed much friendlier. Or perhaps here, the Atlanteans were confident that their large forces (from the nearby city) could take the invading forces.

Anyway, good to see that the forces of the Kaiser are making their mark in this new territory too! The Britischer Schweinhunden won't have it all their own way!

Great energy guns! And I like the monk-like styling of the temple gunners too. I take it these are from your Venusian campaign? I think in many ways they fit quite well. And it's obviously a very rich temple they're from, most temples round where Bullshott and Co are only have a couple of these guys. Of course, your Prussians are it seems attacking probably the third biggest city on Atlantis...

And cool priestess mini too. I've been looking for something similar (only, a bit less, you know, porno) for Atlantean females (who fight alongside their menfolk on many occassions). Particularly impressed by the Rio Carnival style headdress - Atlantean nobles and high priests do indeed wear very big hats - the bigger the hat, the more important you are; also the bikini-top affair is pretty similar to my original concept sketches 8 months or so ago... only my female warriors weren't in so much danger of falling out of theirs!

Actually I purchased the Temple fellows and Priestess for this Atlantean campagin. Clockwork soldiers are in the long run for my Venus force of Kapt. Kneemo's Expeditionary Ether Force (KEEF). Got the temple guys for 50cents each, so not to big an outlay for them. Besides dressing up their bases, I'll be doing a wash and dry brush on their robes to tweak thier appearance to a higher degree

I suppose it was inevitable that one of the great powers would eventually push the Atlanteans too far. Obvious really that it would be the Prussians.

  Excellent! I hadn't spotted them on your blog so I assumed they were older - and that seems a great price for some cool minis! Where did you get them, if you don't mind me asking (the priestess too, if they came from different suppliers)? At 50c a mini, it might be worth getting them posted to the UK (can you tell I want some?  )

The Technoprentic come on clik bases and are rated rookie to vetern, AVOID same figure if the one you look at has a Name , different rank, as they run about 2 to 5$ each, exact same figure, different clik base.  Supplies can vary in and out of stock. Also do a name search on each site as there are multipul ranks for the figures, typically at same price, might have a different colored robe. When I got the links for this article I counted 18 available at Gamgingetc and 56 at TrollandToad.
